who we are
Maryam AlSaati founded House Bahrain from a deep interest in interiors, objects, and how people truly live in their spaces. What began as a personal exploration of design evolved into a studio built on instinct, experience, and a desire to create homes that feel intentional yet full of character.
At its core, House Bahrain balances clarity with individuality. While the work is grounded in function, quality, and thoughtful planning, each space carries a subtle twist shaped by intuition, culture, or context. The result is design that feels calm and timeless, but never expected or formulaic.
From interiors to curated pieces, every decision is guided by craftsmanship and lived experience. Materials are chosen for their honesty and longevity, layouts for how life unfolds within them. Clean lines and quiet palettes are often paired with unexpected details that add depth, story, and a sense of soul.
Based in Bahrain, House Bahrain is influenced by the region’s light, climate, and cultural layers, while remaining globally aware. The studio creates spaces and collections that feel grounded and refined, personal rather than perfect, and designed to endure beyond trends.
2019
Building my home
While building my own home, I discovered a natural pull toward interiors and spatial design. It was the first time I began thinking deeply about how spaces feel, not just how they look.
2020
House Ready
With the house complete, opportunities began to follow. I started working on pop-ups, styling, and small design projects for clients and businesses across Bahrain.
2021
Process of learning and collecting info
This was a year of exploration and foundation building. I began blogging, forming relationships with furniture suppliers, and working with real estate clients to grow experience and refine my point of view.

The Glassroom
The Glass Room was House Bahrain’s first official project, designed as a portable glass structure for Shaikha Noora bint Hamad Al Khalifa. Created over three years, it became a defining moment that opened the door to what followed.
2023
Bedroom
House Bahrain completed its first bedroom interior design project. A small but meaningful step that marked the transition from personal work to professional interiors.
2024
Beach House
House Bahrain delivered its first full turnkey project. The Beach House brought together planning, interiors, and detail into one cohesive vision.
2025-26
House Interiors
The official launch of House Interiors. A new chapter focused on complete interior design services, shaped by years of experience, instinct, and evolution.
